While interacting with a media organisation, Kerala Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala alleged that the voters' list was not transparent and the CPM had planned to add nearly four lakh fake voters to the list. He said, "There are plans to sabotage the elections and AICC will lodge a complaint with the Central Election Commission."

The Opposition Leader further said that the party's next goal is to prevent bogus votes during the Kerala Assembly elections.

Ramesh Chennithala even explained how he and his party highlighted the Pinarayi government's corruption and other issues. He said, "My party was with me for everything and I was awake when Kerala was asleep."

The senior Congress leader even attacked the Pinarayi government for their PR campaigns and said, "The Congress can also launch a cyber attack if they pay and hire people, but that is not the style of Congress."

When asked about UDF's Chief Ministerial candidate, the Opposition Leader said that it will be decided by the High Command after the Assembly elections. "The High Command will approve whoever is chosen as the Chief Minister. It is a good thing that Oommen Chandy is taking part in the campaign. If the party asks me to stand aside, I will accept it." He further added that people's rating is most important than channel ratings as it cannot silence corruption.

UDF's hope to get Nemom constituency, the much-discussed constituency in Thiruvananthapuram, is very evident in Chennithala's word. He said that only UDF can restrict BJP from winning at Nemom and Muraleedharan will win the seat and become an MLA. He even added that Kunhalikutty and Muslim League had always reacted strongly to all the issues raised by the UDF and himself. "Congress is on good terms with the NSS. Pinarayi Vijayan was trying to create communal polarization," he added.
