While interacting with media, Kerala Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala has said that the UDF will win the Assembly elections. He said that the people have already written a verdict against the Left's rule and CPM's effort to create communal polarization was in vain.

Ramesh Chennithala even said that many have voted for the UDF this time believing that the party will perish if Pinarayi Vijayan returns to power. The Opposition Leader said that they were able to effectively prevent fraudulent and double voting. He even praised the Election Commission and the High Court for taking positive steps to prevent fraudulent votes.

The senior Congress leader said that the Election Commission will be given instructions to prepare an impeccable voter list. He even demanded re-polling in the Taliparamba constituency. Chennithala said that the CPM is unleashing widespread violence and action must be taken to restore peace in the state.

He even expressed condolences over the murder of a Youth League activist in Kannur. He said, "The CPM carried out widespread violence in Harippad and Kayamkulam. The CPM wants to intimidate those who support the UDF." Chennithala said, "The Left's stance against NSS is part of that and CPM was trying to intimidate NSS, but it did not work."
