Former Rajya Sabha MP and senior Congress leader Motilal Vora, who had celebrated his birthday on December 20, has passed away on Monday. Reportedly, he was earlier admitted to Fortis Hospital due to urine infection, and in October, he had tested positive for Covid-19.
Congress leaders and other Political big wigs had shared their condolences on Twitter. Wayanad Congress MP Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter and said, “Vora Ji was a true Congressman and a wonderful human being. My love and condolences to his family and friends.”
The veteran Congress leader had been Rajya Sabha MP for Chhattisgarh until April this year and had been Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Governor of Uttar Pradesh. He had recently mourned the death of his close friend Ahmad Patel.
